Our Harvest Party

We hosted a Harvest Party this year the first weekend in November. (As an alternative to halloween.) It was wonderful weather and we had a fantastic time with our friends. The goal was to have everyone wear costumes and play games and eat. Well, next year, costumes are going to be a requirement to get in the door! The kids did a haystack hunt and found lots of candy in the straw. They did bubbles and drew all over our driveway and played in the ball pit. It was a good time. Little Ellie was too cold in just her bumblebee costume, so we found a little shirt for her. Ian here was supposed to be in costume, but his was made of fleece and he would have been too hot. That's okay - just remember next year, you'd better be prepared with a spare costume or something!
