Our big snow

We got about 8 or so inches with more of course in the drifts. And now they're saying we could get another 7 inches! Our dog was up to his head in the snow and that's on our deck. Granted, our dog is not very tall, but still... It's one of the best snows we've had in the past couple years.

Mama on a sled

My very first time on a sled! So much fun. We've got to the point now that we can go from the top of the hill behind the house all the way down to the field (it's a decent run). And Noah, who was hesitant at first, is now making the run by himself and loving it! Oh and we're buying snowsuits and snowboots for everyone before next winter. No more cold toes!

Sledding with the grands

Noah on a sled for the first time - the beginning of something wonderful! We've been sledding for days! Wa-hoo!!

Snowy Summer

The other day Noah told me, "The sunny summer is over and now it's the snowy summer." Indeed.

bundled up and ready to build a snowman. here he's showing us the carrot, which is lost in his big winter mitten

Ol' Blue Eyes

Look out, Frankie Sinatra. This girl's got some peepers too. I think she got her Aunt Jessi's eyes. Huge, blue, and sparkling.
