Sitting Big

Look at Noah thinking he's a big shot, all sitting up and stuff. He sits up quite well if he's got some props, but he tends to pitch forward or sideways after a while. He seems to like being upright where he can look around and see all the excitement (such as it is) in the world around him.

Noah news: I think he's teething. He's constantly working his mouth around, drooling, chewing on things and fussing a little more. He tries to roll over but he can only get to his side. He's making new sounds and louder ones. Sometimes he just randomly shouts. It's hilarious. Our second bottle of baby zantac (for reflux) ran out and we didn't refill it. He's handling it fine, so the reflux must have gotten better (either that or the milk allergy was part of the problem). He still spits up a LOT. I wish I could find a way to help him with that. When do babies outgrow the spitting up? He's slept through the night a couple of times (from about 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. I think that counts as sleeping through the night). But he doesn't do it consistently. I usually have to feed him once in the middle of the night - but hey, it's WAY better than feeding every two hours like we were doing a couple of months ago. Overall, we're doing pretty well and feeling happy.

Drool bucket

Noah's turning into a little drool bucket - it's cute, even if it is a bit messy.

Chewing on his links, which, naturally, produces lots of drool.

I love the way his eyebrows go up when he is on his tummy.

What a funny little face.
It's a fuzzy picture of a sweet grin.

Pull my tail...

I was hoping to catch him actually pulling the lion's tail and starting the music, but he couldn't quite get a hold of it. Usually he can. That's because he's the smartest kid ever...

New favorite picture

This is my favorite picture at the moment - I took it this morning by just stretching my arm out. I'm in pajamas without a speck of make-up on and the lighting is terrible and I don't care. I love it when Noah reaches for my face and I love that I actually caught it on camera.
